This gorgeous couple just celebrated their one year anniversary!! I loved this couple. They’re so sweet and cute together.
They had a gorgeous wedding with planning done by Kendell Poole Ellis. Hair was done by Molly Gee. The flowers were done by Wendy Putt. Their gorgeous reception was at the Old Capital Inn in Jackson. I so wish we could do this wedding all over again. It was an amazing wedding!

I had the opportunity to photograph Bevin and Richard’s wedding last summer. They are so perfect together. They planned a small wedding at the home she grew up in over in Tidewater in Madison. The backyard was gorgeous and had incredible lighting. It was absolutely perfect. I LOVE small weddings just as much as the big weddings. They had about 30 of their closest friends and family, a cute cake, and the 2 of them sharing their love with everyone.

I love this sweet family! I was so excited when they asked me to come to their house for a Christmas session in front of their fireplace. We worked around sweet little baby Rowan, and I think they turned out great.
Tonja & Eric are pros in front of a camera. They modeled for me last year doing a post wedding session and now they’ve added sweet little Rowan to the family. She’s ADORABLE! We had a blast hanging out with them and watching a Mississippi State game, (#HAILSTATE!).
So here’s some of their fabulous session at their home! 🙂

My beautiful sister got married last year. It was October 19, 2013. It was a beautiful day in Chattanooga, Tennessee, perfect weather, a cool breeze, cool temps, and a picture perfect bride and groom! They got married at the A&J Big Porch and Farm in Chattanooga. I LOVE that place. The whole family stayed in the cabin on the property and the wedding took place right outside the front door. I loved every detail of their country theme!
Congratulations again to Jeanette and Michael. You had an absolutely perfect day! 🙂
PS… I was also a bridesmaid, so you fill find me a few of these 😉

I had sooooo much fun with Tonja, Eric, and Lily! They always crack me up. Lily is usually coming up with poses, while Eric is always making us laugh.
Normally I don’t do maternity sessions but I just couldn’t tell this gorgeous family no. HA! They’re so easy to photograph and after doing their post wedding session, I just couldn’t wait to shoot them again. Baby Rowen will be here in August! Eric will have a house full of pretty ladies! 🙂

I was so excited when Tonja asked me to photograph Lily for Easter. She’s SO cute! She’s quite a little poser too. She was asking to do all kinds of stuff, and I can see her getting into modeling one day. I have to admit that some of these poses were her ideas! She had fun playing with the little chicks! I had a blast photographing her.

I had the pleasure of getting to photograph sweet Lily in one of her favorite dance outfits. I love shooting dancers! They know how to pose, and they’re so graceful. She is quite a natural when it comes to ballet! We did just a quick mini session and in about 20-30 minutes, she nailed several great poses on the first try.

Brittany and I have know each other since junior high. So the day she called and told me she was engaged, I was excited! I was even more excited when she asked me to capture her special day.
She and Scott were married at the Saint Peter’s Cathedral in downtown Jackson on June 1, 2013. Their reception was at the Country Club of Jackson. It was stunning! She really did an awesome job planning her wedding. I’m so happy for the two of them and wish them a lifetime of happiness.

I posted a couple of months ago online looking for a couple to model in their wedding attire. When Tonja and Eric messaged me, I jumped for joy! All of my couples are awesome but if you want to meet two people who are truly perfect for each, this is them. They totally rock!
We had a blast shooting these. I was playing around with using two lights on a session. It’s something I haven’t dealt much with and wanted to explore. (However, as always, I shot some natural light too.) I feel like the results are just awesome. You can do amazing things with just one light, but throw in a second and my mind is blown!
I took them to a few of my favorite spots. Sorry, I won’t say where 😉 ! I call one of them my secret spot even though it’s not secret. It’s in plain site if you know where it is or if you look at your surroundings a little closer. In the ones with lights, I was playing around with backlighting and lighting my subject as well as trying to use the sun to my advantage or completely over powering the sun when possible.
So here is the awesome Tonja & Eric. They totally rocked their post wedding session. Also, Carl was a great grip! (A grip is a photographers assistant who carries equipment, holds lights, sets things up, and takes things down. Thank you for all your help Carl!)

It’s been fun watching Grace grow up into a beautiful young lady. It’s still hard to believe she is a senior this year at Saint Andrews in Ridgeland and will be going off to college next year.
As soon as Grace told me she wanted me to do her senior portraits, I knew I wanted to do something swimming related since she’s on the swim team. We had a blast!
