Hey, I’m Sheryl. I’m a professional photographer located in central Mississippi. I’ve had a love for photography since I was young. My mom bought me a 110 camera when I was 10 years old. I’ve been obsessed ever since. In high school I joined the photography club at school and started learning how to print and process in a darkroom. From there my love grew. I loved seeing my images develop on to paper right in front of my eyes. After high school, I went off to college and got an Associates in Art from Holmes in Ridgeland. After Holmes, I spent a semester at Delta State and then transfered to Belhaven in Jackson. I graduated with a Bachelors in Photography from Belhaven in December of 2009. Through my college years I started shooting and practicing and went professional in 2010 after finishing school.
Beyond photography, I love crafting, sewing, and making things. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands. I’m also a mom to three beautiful babies. Life is fun, energetic, and full of life. There’s never a dull moment. My kids are my inspiration most times when it comes to sessions. I think of how I love to capture my kids and funnel that into my family and children sessions.
