Kathryn – Bridals

Not only have I photographed Kathryn’s actual proposal, we did her bridals as well. She’s such a beautiful girl inside and out. She rocked her bridal session and even did a special portrait just for dad with the chalk board.

The chair she’s sitting in was her grandmothers. I love that she brought it with her. The bible she’s holding has her married name inscribed on the front. That’s how her sweet husband proposed. He surprised her with that bible. Her face when she saw the name, then looked up to see him on one knee was just perfect! I added in that image just because it’s so cute and perfect.

Next up for Kathryn is her wedding images!

Jennifer + Daniel – The Barn at Bridlewood, Hattiesburg, MS Wedding

I was sooooo tickled when my best friend FINALLY got engaged to the man of her dreams. Jennifer and Daniel got married in Hattiesburg at the Barn at Bridlewood. This venue, oh it’s beautiful!!! But as gorgeous as the venue is, she stunned everyone in her Alfred Angelo gown. She even created her beautiful jewelry herself. Her wedding was a blast and every little detail was perfect.

Lucero – Saint Andrews Senior Ridgeland, MS

I was so excited when Lucero and her mom asked me to do her senior portraits. This girl is gorgeous and was sooooo much fun to work with. She’s a senior this year at Saint Andrew’s high school in Ridgeland.

When I asked her where she wanted to shoot, she mentioned her home and the family restaurant, Margarita’s. We had her session scheduled for a Saturday evening. When we got to Margarita’s on County Line Road, I was so nervous. The place was busy, and I had a million thoughts running through my head. Luckily, I managed to work in my lights around tables and customers and shoot in Lucero’s favorite spots where she spent a lot of time as a child after school while her parents worked. I love that these images and locations have so much meaning to her and her family.
