This is more of a personal blog than a photography one but a lot of people have asked how things have been lately.
My husband and I welcomed our first child, Robert Christian Lester, into our lives on April 29, 2012. He was born at 5:38pm. We delivered at UMC and the whole experience was amazing! My son weighed 8 pounds and 13 ounces. My husband and I were both surprised at how big he was and how perfect he is in every way. God truly has blessed us more than we can imagine by giving us the chance to be parents.
My husband and I will be celebrating 5 years of marriage at the end of the month. Last year around our anniversary, we bought our first house. It was when God finally answered that prayer for us that we sat down together and prayed for a family. Just a few short weeks later we were expecting and ecstatic!
He’s 6 weeks old now, and I’m working on getting back into the swing of things. It’s a new world learning to work and care for him. However, I’m loving every minute! It’s amazing being a mother and being able to work at home plus still spend so much time with him. Life has changed drastically but in so many positive ways!
Here’s some images of my sweet little man. Some are taken with my camera & some with my phone (yes I’m the typical mom & take a ton with my phone because it is nearly impossible to have my camera ready for all of his spur of the moment cuteness! Plus I think I’ve become addicted to Instagram!)
